When you join the Olyada waitlist, we collect information you voluntarily provide, including your first name, last name, email address, and whether you are looking for a role or joining as an employer or school.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to manage the Olyada waitlist, communicate with you about Olyada, provide updates about the product, and understand interest in Olyada from candidates, employers, and schools.

3. Email Communications

If you join the waitlist, we may send you emails related to Olyada. Every waitlist email will provide a way to leave the waitlist.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Olyada uses a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies.

Essential storage. We use local storage to remember whether you have accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask you every time you visit.

Optional analytics. If you accept, we use PostHog to understand how people find and use the Olyada website. This may include pages visited, waitlist interactions, and a random identifier stored in a cookie or local storage. Analytics cookies are not set until you accept.

If you decline, the site still works. You can join the waitlist, browse the site, and receive emails without analytics cookies.

5. Removing Your Information

If you choose to leave the Olyada waitlist, your waitlist record will be removed from our waitlist database. You can use the removal link included in Olyada waitlist emails.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use third-party service providers to operate parts of Olyada, such as hosting, infrastructure, databases, email delivery, and analytics (PostHog, if you accept analytics cookies). These providers only receive information necessary to provide their services.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information submitted through Olyada. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your Choices

You may choose not to join the waitlist, leave the waitlist at any time, decline analytics cookies, or contact us regarding information associated with your waitlist submission at updates@olyada.com.

9. Additional Information for the European Union and United Kingdom

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR may give you additional rights over your personal information.

We collect waitlist information because you choose to provide it, and we use it to manage the waitlist and send you Olyada updates you asked for. Optional analytics run only if you accept cookies.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct inaccurate information
• ask us to delete your waitlist information
• ask us to restrict how we use your information
• receive your information in a portable format

Olyada uses service providers to host this website, store waitlist data, send email, and (if you accept) provide analytics. Some of those providers may be located outside the EU or UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, your information may be transferred internationally in order to operate the waitlist.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In the EU, you can contact the authority in your country of residence.

If you are in Canada, Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA and, where it applies, provincial law such as Quebec's Law 25) may give you additional rights over your personal information.

We collect waitlist information with your consent when you join, and we use it to manage the waitlist and send you Olyada updates. Optional analytics run only if you accept cookies.

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent will not affect emails or analytics that already happened, but we will stop using your information to keep you on the waitlist or to measure the site, as applicable.

Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) also applies to commercial electronic messages. We only send Olyada waitlist email to people who joined the waitlist. Every waitlist email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Some of our service providers may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. If you join the waitlist, your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Olyada develops. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
